Family Care has been piloted in several Wisconsin counties and has proven to be successful in terms of quality and cost-effectiveness. Because of this, Governor Doyle has launched a campaign to bring Family Care to the rest of Wisconsin during the next five years. While this is an ambitious undertaking, many planning consortia have been working diligently to make this happen. Community Care of Central Wisconsin, Central Wisconsin’s consortium, has received a $250,000 grant to expand Family Care to Marathon and Wood Counties by 2008.
