Employment Project Coordinator

Community Care of Central Wisconsin was the recipient of a 2008 Pathways to Independence Integrated Employment Grant. These grants are being used by Managed Care Organizations throughout Wisconsin to explore and create best practices in integrated employment.

I was hired on May 1st to oversee the grant project for CCCW. One of our first tasks was to create a vision and mission statement for integrated, member-centered employment that CCCW will adopt and bring forward to the expansion counties of Marathon and Wood.

Other projects include conducting a survey of members and providers regarding employment with the Community Research Center at UWSP, establishing procedures for self-directing employment outcomes, and building alliances with providers, employers and other associations essential to the vocational goals of our members.
